  • 4th General High School of Rhodes (Coordinator)

    • 4th GEL Rodou (Secondary High School) is a public General upper Secondary school in Rhodes city. It offers upper general secondary education to students aged 15-18. The school has 40 teachers and 452 students.

      Due to touristic economical development in the last decades on Rhodes island, the school receives students from different social, financial and cultural backgrounds.

      The highest priorities of the school are to promote

      1.     Improvement of school performance for every student. The school aims to provide high quality of general and specialised education for every student according to their interests, needs and skills by supporting differentiated learning and special learning needs. Most of the school’s students take part and succeed in the final national exams and continue their studies in greek universities.

      2.     A happy and creative school environment for all students. Students are constantly encouraged to participate actively in many curricular and extracurricular activities.

      3.     Participation in national and international competitions of science in order to identify and support talented students and enhance their interest in science.

      4.     Active citizenship. Education for democratic citizenship, human rights and intercultural understanding is a high priority of the school program. All students are enhanced to develop their skills and attitudes of active citizenship and civic competences in every future democratic society by learning their rights and responsibilities and implementing activities that show solidarity to other people and the whole community and promote equity and non-discrimination.

      5.     ICT and digital citizenship. By including ICT in learning process, the school modernises education and promotes digitization and develops the digital competences of students.

      6.     School cooperation with families and the community. The school supports communication and cooperation with several different groups such as families, society clubs, non profit organisations, municipal and governmental organisations.

      7.     European small and large scale projects to support european active citizenship. The school encourages participating in Erasmus projects in order to show and develop innovative practices and skills and inspire students to exploit their european identity and all benefits of school cooperation and motilities.


  • Panteion University

    • Meet the Department! 30 years in 2:30min

    • The Department of Communication, Media and Culture was the first Department of its kind to be established in a Greek University, welcoming its first students in the 1990-1991 academic year. Ever since, its mission has been: “The theoretical and historical-empirical exploration of the communicative phenomenon; the creation of executives with employment potential for the public services, public relations, and press offices of the public and private sector; and the instruction and training of journalists and qualified staff for the daily press, magazines and online media, as well as for all other forms of communication and information”.

      The Department’s aims are:

      1. to conduct research in particular cognitive areas, and specifically in the fields of communication, media and cultural administration through the development of interdisciplinary approaches,
      2. to provide academic knowledge of the highest standard and training in the relevant scientific fields to the students, while preparing them for a professional career in journalism (both in print and digital media), applied communication (including advertising and public relations) and cultural management, combining to this end, theory with practice.

      The Department aspires for its graduates to acquire communication skills, academic competence, technical and digital skills, familiarity with the field of culture and the cultural and creative industries, philosophical knowledge, critical thinking, professional responsibility and market expertise.


  • Lithuania, Joniskis District Educational Institution Heads Association

    • The non-governmental organization was founded in 2020, in place of the Joniškis district school directors’ association, which has been operating since 1996.
      The aim of the association’s activity is the professional improvement of the heads of educational institutions.
      Fields of activity – education and activities of services specific to education.
      The association unites six general education schools (three gymnasiums, pro-gymnasium, two main schools), three kindergartens, two non-formal education schools (Art School, Sports School), one special education institution and an adult education institution (education center).
      The association operates according to the approved regulations.
      The association organizes trainings for heads of educational institutions, conferences; experiences are shared at methodical days. Represents the interests of association members in state and municipal institutions, advises managers on issues of work organization of educational institutions.

  • ICON Greece

    • ICON Greece (Inclusion in COmmuNity) started as an informal group of teachers and students with the aim of helping the inclusion in the school community of children with special needs skills and/or with a different cultural background. The creation of ICON Greece began in 2011 in Middle and High Schools of Rhodes with voluntary actions in the schools. The group started with activities at the school in
      frameworks of Environmental Education, Health Education and Professional Career Programs. ICON aims at: 

      • The inclusion of all people regardless of the images and stereotypes that each group has of the other
      • The cultivation of empathy and respect for people from different groups and with different abilities
      • Providing support and guidance to vulnerable groups for social inclusion 
      • Helping young people to improve their skills, gain knowledge & improve their qualifications to have better career prospects
      • The promotion of volunteerism, cooperation, democracy and the active participation of citizens
      • The empowerment of young people through local and regional partnerships
      • and European level
      • The promotion of European identity and cooperation


  • UMBRELLA, Georgia

    • Umbrella is a leading Georgian youth value-based organization with the aim to educate, motivate and activate young people aged 13-30 in Georgia and beyond, in order to be empowered and develop the communities that are coming from.

      To reach the goal they adopted the strategy of setting up youth development spaces to attract youth and implement various youth-led activities at local, national and international levels. Currently, Umbrella has three youth centers in different regions of Georgia.

      Since its establishment in 2016, hundreds of members and beneficiaries have participated in many local, national and international youth work-related events, have run dozens of projects at the local level and became a partner in the European project with our international partner youth organization. To ensure a real impact they work on local, national and international levels, something that brings innovation and problem-solving youth work results.

      Umbrella currently is a member of the following international or European youth networks – MIJARC Europe, YEE, Rural Youth Europe, GYBN, IYNF, ECYC, FIMCAP and DYPALL. Umbrella is collaborating with various international and local donor organizations, including the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe, the European Commission within Erasmus+ and ESC program, EVZ supported by the German Foreign Ministry via the Meet-Up program etc.


  • Liceo Scientifico Statale N. Copernico, Italy

    • Liceo Copernico is a public school based in Brescia, in the north of Italy. The school is a Liceo Scientifico, a secondary school that provides general education with a specific specialisation in Scienfic subjects. Core subjects are Maths, Physics, Science, as well as general culture subjects (Latin, Italian, History&Arts, Foreing languages and Philosophy). The school offers a traditional curriculum, as well as specialistic ones: a STEM (with extra hours in Maths, Physics and Science), a Language Curriculum (articulated in English - with extra English hours and CLIL modules in English during the 5 years or a double foreign language course, either English and German or English and French, the latter with ESABAC, giving the students a double Diploma, valid both for Italy and for France). New from the next school year is the Bio-Medical Curriculum, for students who intend to continue in the medical field (extra hours of Biology&Natural Sciences) and the Communication Curriculum, specializing in the different forms of communication (visual arts, cinema, theatre, literature, art of speech, art of persuasion, marketing and advertisement languages, web languages, politics languages) Aim of the school is to provide high level education in a lively and culturally rich environment, to promote the students improvement, both in school performance and social developement and to optimise the teaching/learning system, providing the students an effective and useful knowledge they could spend in further education or working life. The school is interested in joining a project that can put both students and teachers in contact with pairs in different countries, sharing similar but not the same culture, so that they can compare their learning and teaching experiences and understand how modern issues of inclusion (cultural, of gender, of minorities, of disabled or disadvantaged students) can be dealt at best with effective results. Our school has been dealing for many years with different projects of inclusion, facing with immigration issues, bullism and gender differences. 


  • Fyllingsdalen, vgs, Norway

    • The school is General and Vocational Secondary Education. The school has many students with different linguistic and cultural background, from immigrant or refugee families. Almost 30% of students have mother tongue other than Norwegian. All students at the school have their own laptop which provided by the state. The basic principles of the school are summarized as follows
      1. We work together and are on schedule, for meetings with teachers, counselors and groups. We deliver school work at the agreed time 

      2. We keep the place clean. We clean up what we left in classrooms, corridors, canteen or on the school grounds. 

      3. We are prepared. We do the schoolwork and make sure we are up to date on all the activities and activities

       4. We offer each other peace of mind to work. 

      5. We show respect for each other, act politely and respectfully to students and teachers
